Anything but a card....IO's challenge

Above is the Before

Well today's challenge for Impression Obsession is having you do "anything but a card". Found my anything in the "cheaper then cheap" aisle at Mike's place. A pack of 8 coasters to work with. So I got out the die cuts by Spellbinders and did a bit of die cutting and then got to work stamping. Used IO's set Life and FlowersCL-250 for all the phrase work and some other leafy type stamps I dug out of DD's hoard. Used some smeared colors and just tried to match the ink to the color so it would show but not be too over-bearing. After all the coasters were done I put several coats of Modge Podge on so they can actually be used. Easy little project and usable. Hope you week is going well and you all have a Happy Weekend. Happy St. Paddy's Day to all of you Irish people out there and don't forget to have a green beer for me.

How creative to change the coaster itself!! I love what you did with it. Your post was deleted and you can repost. I also enabled (duh me)so you could do it yourself in the future if it happens again. Thanks for helping me learn linkz. Good luck in the drawing too!

This idea is adorable! Now these coasters are really yours! Each time you use, you will know you did that and they did turn out lovely!

Rubbermaid, really made this challenge doable! Mike's coasters never had it so good! Does Modge Podge withstand much moisture? It has been so long since I used that product.
Hey, will you be sharin' the Fish Fry at KC Hall on Grand Avenue? That baked/steamed salmon is soooo fine. Battered fish all you can eat fills the deepest of teenager hollow legs chased by lettuce or cole slaw salad. The dinner roll, clam chowder, mac and cheese, waffle fries, tater tots, brownie, ice cream, toppings, coffee, water, milk or juice aren't too bad either. Those new round tables for seating really make a family atmosphere. Nice way to top off St. P's week.
Keep Looking UP!

Cute (love those stamps of DD's) and handy, too. Were you thinking of inviting that hat tippin' cowboy over to use them? Hope you're having a good weekend!
