Christmas Cards...fast n furious

Well I was trying to do fast and quick and rush and all those words that say GO and Get them done. Got most of them done except for a few special type one. This is a simple yet good one for neighbors and "slight friends". Maybe I should say acquaintances or maybe I shouldn't be sending them cards in the first place. I put out my huge Christmas wreath which is covered in beautiful tiny lights. I was the last in my circle ( cul de sac...French for circle) to show I'm still living here. Soon my house will smell of home baked goodies as I found some wonderful candles at the dollar store that are Cinnamon Bun, Carmel Cream and well you know what I mean. Fools those nosy neighbors every time. Happy Wednesday and see you soon.

Gimme your candy... or else!

Well I decided to join in Penny's challenge which is a simple task to make a Halloween themed card. Since I love being a bit of a character I used this little Stampendous Halloween set my little darlin Ellie bought on a family trip to Denver. She was a bit miffed that the Nana used it before her but she loved the card so I guess she's not ready to play an Edward role and suck the living blood out of me. This little guy is Mini Edward from the "Twilight" series and he's getting ready to take your goodies rather then hitting on your jugular vein. Just done with my stand by colored pencils (which in this case belong to DD), a couple of circle punches, a bit of glitter and you're pretty set to fly into the night in search of victims...I mean candy.
Happy day to you all. Ellie has a part in today's children's mass at school so we are off to church...need to repent for all my bad ways...yep, I know it!

Timeless Tuesday @ Flourishes

Well today at Flourishes it's Timeless Tuesday time and we are to use metal in some way shape or form. I'm not into "heavy metal" like that hard rock music stuff but I was able to find some little zipper pulls put out by All My Memories and decided this would work Ok. Easy card because my paper which is BG porcelin is the base and I used 2 of my Nesties along with my Stampendous thank you and there you have it. Glued that sucker all together and added a organdy ribbon tied to the grateful zipper pull and I am good to go.
It's hotter then hells bells here today and so it's time to crank up the AC and just stay inside. Us old folks have to be careful not to get a heat stroke and fall down drop dead but as for ME....I'm putting on the bathing suit and heading for my backyard pool. Time to get wrinkly brown. Happy day.

Friday Challenge....can you say "Thank You" ?

Well it is Stamp Simply so I did just that. Used chocolate brown card stock and some sweet K& Co. background paper, my Nestie's Label # 2 die cut and before you know it I'm done. A bit of chocolate grograin ribbon and viola...fini ( that's French you know). My stamp is Stampendous.
Now I have a confession, and as confession is good for the soul....I had a little sneaky hint from DD as to what the challenge was late last night and since I was so busy with Valentine's I did mine before checking with Sharon's blog notimetostamp. Well when I saw her card I about wet my panties because it looks like I cased her but being the sweet little old lady I am...I did not.
This is my own card and so there ! Happy weekend to you all and keep those fingers inky.

Friday Challenge Thank You

Well since you are supposed to stamp simply I did just that. Easy with just the "thank you" by Stampendous and a cute popped out flower from Sandylion. Love those little $1 packets at
Michael's. Makes this a very easy card indeed. Have a wonderful weekend to you all.
I'm going to watch my niece's boys play baseball in a big competition. Go Nick and Alex !!!!

Friday Challenge...I like it Hot

This is one of my favorite relaxing in the afternoon drinks, a good cup of Earl Grey tea. I stamped my cup, in black permanent ink and used my water colored pencils. Nothing to it once the coloring is done. What a blunder...it's on navy blue cardstock, which DD never uses and I think finds disgusting. Matted it on a few pieces of paper, added the tea string lable and viola I'm done. Hope you all have a fantastic weekend. I have the party at church on Saturday which I am looking forward to. Hugs to all.
