It's the Cherries...for challenge

Well Flourishes put up a challenge for some sort of fancy edging or scallops or something...can't remember what I read but know I needed to make my card "edgy". I chose a stamp from the set called Peaches & Cherries. Love the phrase on the card as it's so true. Since making my move I found that my BFF Lindy and I can grow separately but will not grow apart. She's the best! This was a simple card with just choosing the cute circle cuts from Spellbinder along with some cute polka dotted paper, a SU edge punch and just the smallest part of the cherry bunch. Did a bit of coloring and fought with my "bow easy" ( you kidding me???) can't remember how it works bow maker and voila I'm done. It's the pits when you can't remember how to use a snazzy little bow maker but DD helped me remember so we're good to go.

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend. Weather here in Montana is spring like and so enjoyable.

Cute card. So, is there a secret to remembering how to use the Bow Easy? I end up bringing out the instructions.
Send spring this way, we had an unforecast blizzard on Friday, I ended up in the ditch in a whiteout to avoid hitting a pileup, 2 1/2 hours in the car then the sheriff hauled me BACK to town to Walmart for 2 hours until it let up enough for DH to rescue me. Thank God we didn't have a lot of snow to close roads or I'd have been there all night.

Isn't it wonderful, at our age, how we forget how something works! I too have a time with my Bow Easy each and every time I try to use it. Sometimes, I think it would just be easier to tie my own bow....NOT!! My own bows are horrid! Love your card...cherries are yummy looking!

I love all the red and polka dots and the cherries hanging from that dang bow (which turned out gorgeous despite the difficulty). I hope you're enjoying life in Montana. That was quite the move. But, hey, how would you ever have made that bow if you hadn't moved to Montana?

Pat, this is so very pretty! Love the way you've cut out just a few of the cherries, and your color combo is FAB! Sooo happy to have you playing along with us this week! :)

YIPPPEEE! You did it! LOL! Love the way this one turned out. And, to think it might have ended up in the circular file without that bow. What a tragedy!
