Timeless Tuesday...Easter time

Well it's time for another TT over at Flourishes and today we are asked to do an Easter card...BUT I don't have any Easter stamps other then this adorable bunny from Spring has Sprung so this is what you get. He's so sweet it makes me think that spring has sprung the grass has riz...I wonder where these sweet bunnies is?? I just stamped and used my colored pencils as usual but they are my favorite..I'm not swift with those Copic guys. Stamped
used 2 die cuts, used a die cut element from Kaiser Craft lilac collection, some white and lavendar ribbon and a wee button. Put the phrase off to the side and guess what??? I'm fini! I think this little set of groupies will go off in the mail to my BFF for a sweet Easter wish.
Hope you're all off to a great start this week..I am doing the best I can to
have a goodie myself. So take care and I'll see you again soon

Timeless Tuesday ...sketch

Well so what that it's Thursday and I'm getting in on the TT challenge. Once again just couldn't get to it on Tuesday but I know that's not a mortal sin...venial maybe ( that means smaller sin) but what the heck I'm here and ready to rock and roll. Silke has a sketch we are to follow so follow I did. I did a long card for the birthday party for Jan Marie and found that they are fun to do if you take your time...that's why I'm slow on getting this on the blogasphere. Used Flourishes strawberry set on this and let me tell you there's something seedy about this card...too many seeds on these berries to take the time to separately color either white or yellow so too bad so sad. What you see or what you seedy is what you getty. Easy peasy just my water colored pencils a bit of ribbon and a small circle die and away we go. Hope your week is going well and you all have a wonderful weekend. Weather is unseasonable beautious with warm breezes feeling like it's summer. Not complaining one bit!
Picture is a bit blurry ...sorry!

Timeless Tuesday...scallops & lace

Well as it sometimes happens I'm not making TT on TT but well TThursday and that's Ok. We are to do lace & scallops ( not the kind of scallops you eat)so I decided to sneek one of DD's new sets called Botanical Bookmarks Vol.1.
I picked the little violet sibling the viola ( not to be confused with the instrument). These pretty little flowers are so adorable and I always try and include them in my flower pots when using tons of flower combos. Anyway as usual I just used my colored pencils a couple of Spellbinders dies, add a bit of lace and ribbon and of course some bling. So be sure to check out the Flourishes DT blogs to see this new set. Wow the weather is spring like here and it's really a joy to open windows and door walls. Have to get ready for a special guest I'm entertaining this weekend. Nope not a cowboy but a little cowgirl...named Woofy. She's my neighbors little dog and she will keep me company over the weekend while her owner is off on a little trip. I'm looking forward to keeping her as she is so adorable. I'll snap a picture and show you over the weekend. Have fun fellow stampers and see you soon.

Timeless Tuesday Thursday...follow the leader

Well better late then never...I know I know I have all week but I like to do TT on Tuesday but I didn't get there this week. Anyway Miss Heather gave us the challenge to swipe out at least 3 colors from the picture she provided. I decided to choose green, yellow with a tinge of orange, jute ( kraft c.s.) and black. I used FlourishesI Love Roses. I stamped on yellow card stock and tinged it with a touch of peachy orange. Simple card with just a few layers of papers and it's fini.
Hope you're all enjoying good weather and fun. Had a pesky 1-800 caller the last few nights. Called every 2-3 mins. asking me to take a survey. Finally I got so mad I yelled "Did you say I have scurvy?", needless to say I heard a click on the other end and that was the end of the calls. Sometimes we have to take charge and stop this nuisance. Stay happy dear bloggers.
