Timeless Tuesday...purple & blue

Well today's TT is to use purple and blue as your focus...since I don't focus too well at my age I guess that's called blurple and I tried to acheive it as well as I could.  I started with a purple card on which I matted a piece of soft blue and then added a bg from Paper Pizazz which was called sponged purple so since it has both colors I thought Yep and hooray...this will work. I took out the hyicinth set and went to work shading up the big sprig and added some lavendar for the ribbon on it. Love this type of flower and was wishing I could get a whiff of it as to me it is such a wonderful fragrance. Added a few blingers and I'm done.
Still bloody hot here...high 90's each day and I tell you I've had enough of it. Wish the damn weather man would be right for once when he says a cold front is moving in but so far not happening. Hope you all have a grand week fellow bloggers and see you next time.

I like blurple! And you use it so well! Love the image and it worked into a gorgeous card. We are beginning to cool down a little here. We are in the upper 80's but the nights are now getting into the 50's. Fall is on it's way!

Just wonderful Pat! Your hyacinths are beautifully coloured. Great card for the use of blues and purples. Thanks for joining us this week for Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday challenge.

So beautiful. How can i design such attractive designs for the plastic business cards to make them so creative like these. Thanks for sharing.

Hey, Pat! What a window box and lamp circle of blossoms vibrant and best survivors yet! This heat has a test of resilence like no other summer in quite a while. Now, today, dear folks in Brooklyn, Breeze Point and on north in Conn country suffer from tornado touchdowns! What a job weathermen have to keep us all informed in phases of predictions. Fundraiser here at Stage Stop to bring the whole fam SAT next, the 15th, to dedicate a dance floor reset and branded after the 2011 eight weeks of flooding then resettling time plus dry out and 'recovery'. Dinner and Don Belcher Dance Band for the first hour plus jam session participants...anyone who registers, then a whole group jam with commonly known tunes (that will be the test of musical time and memories among players!) dancers may slide a step/thousands, dream of the grand ol' dances there or another-where, or sit and visit leisurely. Turn left at the north end of the Musselshell River bridge Highway 87 north of your town. This is a family affair at no cost unless buying a CD or sax lapel pin in support of the dedication event is your choosing. I have heard that donations will be taken in a specific area of the dance floor but am certain it is not a fill-a-cowboy boot venture....you're kick- up the heels tempo will be great. Lots of cowboys attending from which to muse the dance tunes smattering 1930s to as present as a request is made that a musician or two know. Bring the fam!
Keep Looking UP!
