Front door is on...finally
Here is what my darling cottage looks like now that it is all painted and my door is back on. Too bad my grass is not in yet but it is what it is. I decided if I don't get some grass before the summer really rolls in I will go to Lowe's and buy some by the yard and throw it down...phony is better then none.

Wow! Rubbermaid, so glad that flooding did not cover your coming yard space with inches and inches of silt! Makes that new door and all those lovely posies that much more wonderfully special! No flood in your space is full of grace.
Move in pics have been great all late winter and spring. Thank you for sharing. DIL, DS and GGD have moved in their place started about the same time as yours but move in was about six weeks ago with all outside touch up painting, landscape, and underground lawn sprinkling to do as the ground dries. So very happy for each of your new houses to be homes with loving activities bustling about.
Keep Looking Up!
What a wonderful home. I loved the inside and adore the outside. It's always nice to have a door! As time passes, there will be grass and shrubs and maybe a tree or two! Between marriages I had my own home and loved every minute of making it "mine". It's a great feeling!
Oh Pat, your little house is beautiful! I wish I could visit! :)
LOL Pat! You are too funny about that grass...Your cottage is just lovely and I am sure you feel blessed just having your "own" space. I remodeled my house 5 years ago and I just love the fact that God has blessed me with a beautiful home! Check out my patio in April of 2008....talk about a "haven."
WOW! I LOVE this. It is so cute. I would love a cottage like this. Maybe I am living in the wrong state. :)
Hugs~
Pat, your house is so pretty and I am so glad you got that front door.
If you get that Lowe's faux grass, I want a picture. LOL
OMGosh, it is just wonderful! I love it. I hear you on the grass! Here in NC, I was so surprised to find that a lot of people don't grow grass grass. They let the crabgrass, grow and mow that and think it's grass. LOLOL We have been in almost drought for about 3 years now and no one waters. Another thing I found interesting is that they build homes without sprinkler systems. PS I forgot to tell you I am in love with your flower on your latest card!!! Enjoy the weekend!!
