A house is not a home ....just yet!

Well it's starting to look like a real house. This is the front of my "cottage" style home.

A peek from the side of the little place.

Love all the wooden frame work so had to take a picture.

This was the way it looked on Tuesday and the top picture was how they had progressed today on
Weds. The guys are really slow as they take a couple hour break for lunch and I guess tea time or just pass the gas time ....who knows BUT the electrician came out today and was not happy with their tooting around and so they got a bit more work done. Have a few issues I need to get straightened out such as my master bathroom shower area but I will get on it and see that it is done right. It's coming....Yeah!!!

Since your last post with the concrete in the basement, this looks like so much progress! I know you are getting excited. I'm excited for you! I can't wait until moving day for you...How wonderful for you to have your own home that you had a hand in. Carpenters workers are usually getting paid by the hour and if no one is watching....they drag it out. Good luck to you! I know there is still a long way to go but at least you can see the form of the house....Thanks for sharing!

AWESOME! You must also make sure the 'stamping room' is spot on. You don't want them shorting you on any amenities in there. LOL It looks like it's coming along fine. Keep sharing pictures. This is the fast portion, now the inside is what takes them FOREVER. You might need to lock them inside and threaten to spray girly perfume in there if they don't keep working!

It's looking great, Pat!!
I'm sure you must be getting anxious, it's surprising how fast it all comes together after the framing is finished.
TFS, I love watching the progress!!

Looks pretty good to me. Get that shower issue squared away and hope that they move a little faster if the weather gets colder - - not that I'm wishing for that. Thanks for sharing and you are gonna miss your dungeon digs when all is said and done, I'm guessing.

I love the look of the frame work too! It reminds me of when I tried making something out of toothpicks, it pretty much looked just like the inside of your house.
Looking forward to the day you can show us your new stamping room!
