Penny's challenge....winter scene

Penny's challenge this week is to do a winter scene. When I read that I thought to myself...do I have to?? am I ready for winter?? Absolutely not, but I gave it the old college try and this is what I came up with. This is a very old stamp that I never use cause to be honest with you I don't think it's all that impressive and I don't know why I bought it in the first place. I guess the company that made it wasn't that proud of it either because it doesn't show a name...oops! in very tiny print I just found PSX. Anyway, just stamp and use a bit of colored pencils and then add some glitter glue by Stickles and you're almost there. I did some fancy schmansy punched corners, a bit of $1 bin ribbon and a snowflake by SU and I'm done. I'd rather think of heading to my place in Florida on the beach where I can lay in the sun in my bikini and have all the old men drooling at the sight of me...But since I don't have a place on the beach in Florida or anywhere else nice and warm I guess I'll have the snowblower checked out and get it ready for my winter scene instead. Happy Thursday to you all.

Hey! We can all dream can't we? I have a beach-front property in Hawaii too (in my mind) and I retreat there whenever the cold gets to me :)
Seriously, your card is very pretty, and I love the snowflake accent! Snow?! AACK!! Not ready for it yet!!!

OMGosh Pat ... this is gorgeous!! This scene was just waiting for you to show it a little love ... and that you did! The coloring is just perfect and the special corners ... AWESOME girlie!

Okay .. I'd rather be on playing in the surf vs. snow-blowing ... but what are ya goin' do!! (too fat for the suit anyways, teeehee)

Dang Pat I was so ready to join you at your Florida beach house. The older I get the less well I do in the cold. But the good news is that I get to put on lots more baggy clothes so no one can see how much weight I've gained! lol Yeah.. I was gonna join you Florida but not with a bikini. Haven't worn one of those for 40 years!! lol

But the winter scene is beautiful, anyway, and I love the sparklies that you added to it.

I happen to like it! You know what it reminds me of? Mark and Rashelle's cabin in the woods. I think there are more bears than deer but.... hey... it works! :-) Love the sparkle you added -- just like the glistening snow!
