Friday Challenge 10 Minute Card

Wow, I have some exciting news to share with you...In case you haven't heard Scrabble turns 60 this year. Can you believe that??? I almost had a radiator leak when I found this out. I love Scrabble and play it all the time on the computer and I always win even though I have to admit to you....I CHEAT !!! There is a spot which gives you "best words" with tons of points & I use it,but I only do it when nobody is watching. Ask my SIL Ken, he gets a bit testy over it and always catches me in the act.

Anyway here is my card for the Friday challenge at Sharon's blog no time to stamp. She wanted us to do a 10 min. or less card and so I did what I often do, I used stickers. Yep you read right, just some cute peel off stickers, a bit of glitter glue, some dollar store ribbon , do a bit of matting and you are done. Easy peasy. Can't share the name of what kind of stickers because I got them from Janine ( 2bkrafty) through the mail. Love them and they are so great for a fast card.

Working hard at the Poverty Program handing out the toys and dinners. We do it for 3 days and then we are done for this year.

Happy weekend to you all. And to me too. Keep your fingers inky .

Very elegant card!

I love Scrabble too. while I was shopping this week I saw a new version which boast a larger board and more tiles!! I definitely want it for Christmas. Have you ever played speed Scrabble? Same group of people without the board! Each person grabs 7 tiles and makes their own layout, when someone uses their tiles everyone has to grab another tile until the tiles are gone. Count your points and the person with the most wins! (Speed Scrabble is a favorite among my college age sons and their cousins).

I love scrabble too! I used to play it in the computer but was no fun because I needed to cheat. :( My main language is Spanish and my English is too limited to actually play it in my computer. Even cheating the computer almost always won.

Playing it in real life and in Spanish is not a lot better. lol. Not even playing it with people who is not as good as I am in my own language. I focus so hard in my own play that I miss what others do and mostly I don't notice that they are watching my every move! They're always winners but IRL I don't cheat. lol.

Lovely cards BTW! I loved the two inch of patterned paper one. That was a challenge for sure!

I wanted to let you know too that I changed my blog address and starting 2009 I will no longer use the blogger one. There is a link ther tho, so you can still know where I am. My new address is http://dianets7.wordpress.com

Merry Christmas Pat. I wouldn't mind snow but only for a day or two. White Christmases are pretty.

I LOVE your card -- those trees are fabulous!!! So pretty!!! I love Scrabble, too, but never played it on the computer -- I play it IRL -- LOL!! And I LOVE to use the dictionary when I play, which sends my DH and boys into a tizzy -- they consider that cheating -- LOL!!!!
