Friday Challenge ..Cuddle with Tammy
Well today's challenge is to cuddle with Tammy of http:// stamphappy-tammy.typepad.com/ and that would be Tammy Hershberger. Tammy loves what's called homey, warm cards. I don't know if this is a true sample but she likes to sew and I did that element on my card. I wouldn't call what I did sewing it was more like torturing because I wasn't in the mood to sit and try to sew nice lines or even nice swirley lines but anyway...it is what it is as Einstein would say. This was a very easy card as it used some stickers purchased at my buddy Michael's craft store. What a guy! He has gotten pretty snappy with his great collection of stickers. These are from K & Company and designed by Elizabeth Brownd. The sheet is really fabulous and I can see production of at least 5 or more cards. So I used the old fashioned look, the sewing, and some beautiful ribbon from Mike's and there you have it. Happy weekend to all you dirty fingered ladies.

Very clever to make your card with stickers!!! It is GORGEOUS and certainly has that homey, vintage Christmas feel to it -- just PERFECT!!! There are SUCH pretty stickers available nowadays!!! It's a shame we feel like we're cheating when we use them -- LOL!!! I'm so glad you played -- thanks so much!
I love it!!! Your stitching and I agree -- very homey! Can't wait til you get here so we can have a stampin'/stickin' marathon! XOXOXO
You nailed this card, Pat! It has a wonderful old fashioned feel to it. Just gorgeous! Best, Curt
Hello Pat, this is so lovely. I love Santa Claus and I cry when I see him at the mall each year (tears of joy) Your card is so beautiful and it makes me want to go out and Christmas shop. You captured the spirit with your creativity.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Hugs, Bela
This is very "homey"! And that bow shrieks "Christmas present".
I love old fashioned santas, too. Realized how long it had been since I had come by to gawk - - your RED HOT poppies are GORGEOUS and that was way back last month. It's probably cause Julie's always sending me after candy all over the place (and I'm easily distracted by the art and stuff going on wherever I've landed) and then there's these contests that she enters and I'm off voting her the best and my surfing time went "poof"...
This is just a beautiful card Pat!
Sounds like you are visiting Julie soon!! I hope you have a fabulous time. We haven't talked in awhile.
Things here have been too busy.
Hopefully things will slow down a bit .
Hope you are well and that you have a restful weekend.
LOL

That is just lovely, Pat! I love your bow too!
A great card! I used to collect Santa's (now its stamps!) and I love the homespun look of your card. Sewing? You are better than I in that task - I would not even know how to thread my machine!
What a beautiful card, Pat and the stitching looks great, especially the red thread. And that gorgeous red bow... woof! It's fabulous! Thanks so much for getting cuddly with me! :)
You have such a way with stickers, love this Christmas card!! aaaahhhhhhh, your going to visit Julie???!!!! Sure wish I was joining the two of you, we could have a blast!! Hope you have a great time with her!
This is a very beautiful & vintage card. Love the 'homey' feel of the card with the big ribbon.
The card is beautiful and made me think of those cards my grandma treasures from many years ago. Those made me think of hot cocoa with marshmellows. mmmmm
Beautiful card, Pat. I love those stickers and your stitching is perfect for the homely feel.
Beautiful card, very homey and warm :)
"I wouldn't call what I did sewing it .... "
ROFLMBO, Pat!!! That sentence slays me.
And it is homey and wonderful ... and cute ... jess like us!!!
Have a great weekend ... stay SAFE!
~Hugs, Deb
