Timeless Tuesday...accent black

Well today at Timeless Tuesday we are to accent with black. For my creation didn't want to do 50 shades of black or gray so I calmed myself down and started to work with a simple plan. Used red for my card base added a black mat and then took my white mat and used one of my awesome embossing folders to give some class to the card. For my image I used the summer flowers and the phrase from Friends & Flowers. Simple yet clean Did a bit of coloring, used my circle cut to set my image off and with a small strip of black ribbon behind it I figured my accent with black was fini. Love black and red together. Hope you are all well and are off to a great week. Weather here is perking up and showing signs of Spring. Take care and see you again next time.

Oh, yah, Pat! Red and black together accented by graphics prettily colored make this card charming right down to the embossing and touch of ribbon.
Hey, this is Curt's fifth anniversary in blogland. Had to make a trip down memory lane. Rubbermaid and Dishrag gave such fun glimpses into the new blog featuring card art and practical out of the box papercrafting that I took a huge risk, tried blog hopping, found Curt's World, and have visited there almost weekly since. Thank you. Learning tricks and techniques from J and P as well as C have been wonderful. Thanks.
Roaring winds are ready to hit the area. Trees have begun to wiggle continuously. We are turning off the sprinkler hoses to save evaporation and hope to hit the lawn once the storm cell has past. Wouldn't rain at the end of this cell be just spiffy Keen!! Almost as fine as red and black sporting embossed white with a touch of ribbon. . . tho I have to admit that it is difficult to beat a rain generated lawn green, rich KBG green - growing green w/ nitrogen. Keep Looking UP!

Hmm is anyone else experiencing problems with the
pictures on this blog loading? I'm trying to figure out if its a problem on my end or if it's the blog.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
