Well it's Timeless Tuesday Weds. for me but oh well at least I'm back to posting. This calls for something around the house so I said to myself.,..how about bleach??? Haven't done that in a long time so that's the way I went. Stamped an image from the beautiful pear set and went to work. I embossed the image in gold and then with a clean Q-tip ( not one used in my ears) I used some Clorox bleach and gently dabbed the kraft colored c.s. so as to remove the color. I then went back with another clean Q-tip and chalk colored my image but not too much. Wanted it to be rather mono toned with the greenish papers I used. Simple and easy to do. Cut out 2 dies from Spellbinders and used some pop-up dots and I'm fini.
Hope you are all off to a good week and enjoy the soon to be weekend. Happy times to you all.

Glad to see you back, Pat. I've been enjoying your blog for a long time but this is the first time I've left a comment. Did you know we both have daughters who work for Flourishes? I'm proud to say I'm Kathy Jones' Mum (from Australia). BTW, great idea with the bleach!
WOW! You are a Q-Tip master! Well done on removing, then coloring these pretty pears. Love the greens. Hope you are warm and well. hugs from the mitten - denise g.

Loved your Green cards and the technique with the bleach. Always enjoy seeing your post.
Your card is gorgeous. Where have you been??? I have been missing you and you wonderful blog. Great idea to use bleach, I haven't in a long time either so I think i will have to try it again. Thanks Mary L Schreiber
Hey, Pat, what fun to read of successful bleaching and repurposing something from around the house into beauty with a message. Green, green, the pear is ripening still (for a musical take off!). That reminds me of delicious pears we found in IGA nearly ripe needing only a couple of days in a brown bag. Yummy salad. Blessings on you and yours. mt23stamperatyahoodotcom
Keep Looking UP!
