Well this was a real pain for me to accomplish but after at least 8 times...I got it. So migraine or not it's entered into the TT challenge over at Flourishes. I was so mad at my trying this over and over that I was ready to seek out Beate and literally do her harm...but since that seemed a bit drastic I took my computer to my craft room and followed step by step her directions and finally I got it. My big problem was my cardboard was not heavy enough and once I figured out what I needed ...it worked. I used my dotted swiss folder and my die is of course from Spellbinders and I'm not going to check out the number but say figure it out for yourselves. Mean spirited I know. I used this candle arrangement from one of the new sets called Christmas Candles. Tied a bow with the Bow Easy and slapped everything on a red card. Put on some glitter and it's done. I looked at this just now and said to myself...That choice of colors is not the best but maybe I'll do another later and re-post...yeah right! Happy week fellow stampers.

I'm thinking it was worth the effort....well, minus the headache!
Looks great!
LOL, I know just how you feel!! One heck of a job, I never have gotten it to work to my satisfaction yet!! Must be too thin as I used two layers of card stock. I will have to dig out some card board. Very nice Pat, as there are some that still have a headache!
Sorry about your migraine. Those are BAD!
I LOVE that you stuck with it and made this card. It looks beautiful!
Thanks so much for participating in the challenge.
Hugs and smiles
Oh my goodness, your verbage made me laugh so much!! :) It was definitely worth the effort because your card is absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for taking the time to play along with the FTTC :)
I had a hard time too Pat. I just had to fake it because I thought the cardboard was going to break my Gand Calibur. The end result is stunning. Sorry you got a headache over the ordeal. :)
Hugs~
Oh, Pat!! You always give me a laugh! I too struggled big time with this technique and finally fudged it, so it looked like the technique from the outside...just don't take it apart! You did it right though! Way to go! Sweet and lovely card!
Don't hurt Beate...she is a sweetie! Your card is lovely even if it did give you a headache! Great technique!
