Timeless Tuesday...use pearls

Well good golly Miss Molly here I am again on time for Flourishes challenge, I guess wonders never cease. I got their new stamp set just last week and was really wanting to use it ...so here it is. It's the Gerbera Daisy set which although these flowers bloom in many colors when I did up this card they looked like asters to me so I guess I'm just a real ass...ter and colored them in my own way. I had a horrible time glueing my Nestie cut down as the mono-adhesive was so gluey ( is that a word??? I heard of Huey and Dewy but is there a gluey??) I was sticking to the card along with my image. But as you can see I finished it off OK. It's the Flourishes Gerbera Daisy set which I used my colored pencils on, added some chiffon ribbon of lilac color on my lilac colored cardstock and if you notice on my little Nestie phrase card( also used the rectangular die) I added my lilac colored PEARLS, as the challenge called for. Why is lilac spelled that crazy way when you say it like lie lock...oh they are always trying to make us old people crazy. So then I also ( almost forgot to tell you ) used my Fiskars scallop punch to make a cute border for the bottom of the card. Hope you are all well and happy and have a good start in this new week. Is it just me or is the English language confusing? I know the answer...it's just me. It's a crap getting old.

GASP!! Your coloring is FANTASTIC!! I LOVE your take on the lilac aster / gerberas and I'm probably going to get myself in trouble, but I like your version of them better than your DDs!?!! I think "gluey" is Louie's twin...

My friend, you can REALLY color those flowers!!! They're just GORGEOUS! I love the sponging, the shading and the various colors of lavendar (which is how I pronounce lilac)!! This is just stunning!!!
Getting old bites I agree, but we're still kickin' and that's a good thing:) Let the younguns worry about English - as long as we understand stamping, what else matters?! LOL

That's a girl, rubbermaid; proud of you for sticking to your free email 'guns'. These days a switch from free of charge to total charge per usage is way too much shock for the system - personal finance. Now those Gerbera are most delightful asters! Lovin' the color and subtle greeting from each blossom! Hybrids make name calling a bit chancy anytime, so those lie-lock lovely pearls make classy cards perk. Have a Huey, Louis, gluey great weekend! Heading for Big Sky and all that intersection construction where President Obama whizzed through earlier. Rapids away! Keep Looking UP!
