Poppy by Flouishes

Just bought this set from Flouishes and fell in love with the poppy image immediately. Just used water colored pencils, my Nesties for the oval and the oval scallop, a bit of ribbon and penned a gold border around my black paper. The phrase is Hero Arts. Easy card with not too much coloring. Hope you all have a blessed week.

Hi!

Here's a literal translation of what my page says.

"Las jirafas son animales muy interesantes en teoría. Sus manchas, sus antenas, su estilizado cuerpo con cuello alto.
Girafes are, in theory, interesting animals. Their spots, horns and stilist body and long neck."

"Mientras que hay animales grandes, fuertes y poderosos en la selva; también se encuentran (como en nuestra sociedad) animales mas pasivos y hasta vegetarianos.
"While there are big, strong and powerful animals in the jungle; there are (as in our society) more passive animals and even vegetarian."

"El cuello tan alto de la jirafa es lo que le permite alcanzar sus alimentos (frutas) de los árboles y arbustos.
"Its long neck is what lets her reach their food (fruits) from bushes and trees."

"Sus patas y antenas son el perfecto complemento para tan estilizado cuerpo. ¿Será de alta sociedad?"
"It's legs and horns are the perfect complement for her stilized body. Is she high class?"

That last was a joke for myself because tall in spanish is alta as is high. So I played with the giraffe height and style. Thanks for reading my entry!

Pat, this card is beautiful. The colouring is amazing, it looks so real.

Please e-mail me at:

so I may ask questions about the orphanage and if I can send along some cards.
Take care,

Hi Pat: me again. Which James Patterson books have you read? I am reading the Beach House...very intriguing. I like his writing style, is it the same through all of his books?
I try to read between stamping LOL>

Your coloring is perfect. I am ashamed to admit my poppy stamps remaing uncolored - I've just done them in white - I think I am suffering from stampers envy!! Your card is beautiful!
