Black White & One other Color
This is for the Friday challenge on Sharon's No Time to Stamp. Use black and white and one other color. This stamp is a very old one by Paper Inspirations out of Montana. Very simply stamped in black permanent dye based ink and then colored just the rose with red water colored pencil. Added a little corner punch and some bling in red. Hope you all have a great weekend. We here in Michigan are supposed to have rain and we really need it. Take care all.

Sorry no post...too busy
I really can't post a card because my old body is tired from all the gardening I am doing. It's time for the cedar mulch and what I did last year I just can't seem to do this year. Takes me twice as long to accomplish what needs to be done. Promise a card for tomorrow.

Be Kind
This is an old card but I think a great one to say thanks to someone for an act of kindness. My next door neighbor just dropped off a belated birthday gift of an absolutely beautiful Hibiscus plant. I will put it out on my back deck and bring it in over the winter and just keep loving it. These stamps are Endless Creations.

Friday Challenge
This is for Sharon's Friday challenge which is to have a 3 paneled card. I did this on an idea that popped in my head because I had some birthday stamps from my DD and wanted to use them. Like the combo of yellow, white, and black. Stamped and embossed in white and matted, added some little pearls for some bling and I'm good to go.
Stamps are from Paper Trey ink, which is new to me.

Yes it's my Birthday
Well my DD's blog may have directed you here because it is my birthday. She wouldn't disclose my age but well that won't change any facts so I will tell you that today I turn 71 years young. I don't feel any older so why hide the number. I plan to have a fun filled day and hope all of you do too. The Birthday Girl.

Friday Challenge
This is for the Friday challenge on No Time to Stamp. You have to have stitches on the card. I used pretend or "faux" because I'm not that great on striaght stitching. This stamp is a very old one from Embossing Arts and it's just stamped in perm. black so I could use my water colored pencils. The expression is from DeNaime. The background sea shell is from JRL design.Reminds me of sitting on a beach in North Carolina. Peaceful and calm. Hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend.

Spring time in Michigan
This is one of my Redbud trees that are in full bloom at this time. You can see the forsythia in the way back. I love the flowering trees and soon all my crab apple trees and Japanese cherry trees will be in bloom. Beautiful and cheery on this dark and dreary May 3rd. day. Have a great weekend friends.

No Time to Stamp's Friday Challenge
This is for the Friday challenge on Sharon Johnson's No Time to Stamp sight. The challenge was to use pink, green, and flowers. I used a Penny Black sticker along with some paper flowers, a few dew drops, pink ribbon and added a bit of glitter pen to my sticker. Easy and to the point.
Happy Friday and hope your weekend is great!
