Timeless Tuesday Thursday...be fruity
Well being fruity is my forte so this Flourishes challenge was easy. So many wonderful fruits to choose from so I looked in the stash and said...this is peachy keen and chose the peach from the fruity cherry and peach set. Very easy card with just some coloring with the old stand-by water colored pencils. Did a Spellbinder's die to place my peaches on and only added a few embellies and done.
Went to Denver last week with DD and family to visit my son Justin and his new wife Callie. What a wonderful trip! Had tons of fun and it's great to see two very happy young people get married and become a happy unit. As for me...well I did meet a nice cowboy at the VFW hall and we'll see how that goes. Sadly his name is not Buck or Shorty or any of those normal cowboy names. But the good news is he does wear the infamous cowboy hat and boots.
I have to wonder if there's hair under that hat but only time will tell. So I'll give a big whooohay and hope for the best. Won't tell you his name until I get to really know him. So this cowgirl is signing off for now and saying happy trails to you all.

Timeless Tuesday on Wednesday...late again
My pick from the inspirational choices at Timeless Tuesday.
Well you guessed it...I'm a day late and a dollar short ( vacations can be costly), but I'm here to join in on the challenge to be inspired. I was inspired to try and come as close as possible to my choice and copy as much as possible so you knew I was really paying attention and trying. See the damask like look on my card as it mimicks the above photo and then I used some darker blue cardstock to mimick the chair color ( I'm a bit off color wise but as I said I'm trying.) then I copied the bed-head and used an ivory color with my Nestie # whatever and stamped my flowers and believe it or not...they are a Narcissus rather then a daffodil as I'm sure the designer of this flower wanted them to be, but I said to heck with it and made them my own. Did you know that the daffodil is a Chinese sacred lily??? Me neither but that's what I've been told. Anyway the Narcissus is usually white with a yellow/orange center so that's what I did here. Simple card with some embossing in white using the Flourishes Lace Edge set and my flowers are from the ever popular ( with me) calendar set, little phrase is from tag a line. Add a bit of ribbon, slap it all together and fini.Happy week everyone and since I've been away awhile I won't use the colored eggs in the fridge since I know I didn't dye any yet. Better safe then sorry.

Timeless Tuesday...on Tuesday WOW!!!
Well I'm ready, set, go today and got my Tuesday card done for a change on Tuesday. Yea, I know you have longer then just one day to do it yet I think if it's called Timeless Tuesday you should do it on Tuesday. Today Dee is calling the shots...I'll take a gin and tonic with a lime twist but not until around 6 p.m. but since it really is a challege shot, she is calling for the use of red, black, and olive colors. Love that combo and it's bound to make for some bee--utiful cards. My little number is done with a black card base followed by olive, red, and white. I stamped with olive ink to create my background on the white using a Scrappy Cat clear set. I found this gorgeous ribbon at Mike's and just had to have it. My little phrase is from SU or Stampin Up as you more refined ladies and gents might say, put on my Nesties little circles. Tied my bow with the fabulous Bow Easy and I'm finished! Now it's your turn to play in Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge too...so go to your stamp room and get stampin. You can click on my Timeless Tuesday button to get to the sight for all the details and see the gorgeous cards made by the team.
