Timeless Tuesday...3 patterned papers

Well winter ain't gone and Spring ain't riz but if you're wondering where the Rubbermaid is...here I am with the TT challenge. I have to confess my craft room is still a royal American mess so I found this calendar set in a box and said this is it. Actually the month of February is picturing the primrose but I found this patterned paper in the blues's ( I'm not in the blue's the paper is)so I said to myself...self use it and make it work. The papers came from a packet from Making Memories and is all in the brown and blue tones. The Flourishes calendar packs are amazing in the ways they can be used and I will use them to whip up some birthday cards to forward to the hospital and Hospice. I am becoming a Hospice volunteer here in Montana. Got to get busy and thought this would be a good cause to become involved in. Hope you are all off to a good start to this week, I am and hope it continues. Can you believe it was in the low 60's here today !

Very pretty! Love those shades of blue! Hospice? What a wonderful thing. I always said, if I wasn't so tender hearted I would work for them. They do such wonderful work...and I'm a walking advertisement for them. I'm so proud of you for this!

This is gorgeous!! So glad you've had it a bit warmer - it's been warm here too but set to be colder again by the weekend of course! So glad you found something you can get involved with up there in cow country. Hospice is good and I'm sure cards like this will offer great comfort to anyone who receives one. ~chris

Pretty card! I am loving your new home -- it sure is pretty, too. I feel bad because I didn't get any Valentines to the hospital, but I barely got cards made for my Mom and Jeff! Seems like lots of sickness lately that needs my mailbox cheer and then there has been a lot of s-n-o-w adjusting, plus I still gotta go and work for a living. Really like my new house and being back in the country (I was a farmer's daughter born in a corn crib with no slats), but the open field that provides my gorgeous view also drifts me in fairly regularly. I am so happy to read that your generous soul will be helping Hospice. Bless you for sharing yourself with those in dire need. Now that I know you're getting settled and back making me grin, I'll pop on by again soon.

Pat, I love your card and the fabulous coloring and detailing! Thanks so much for playing Flourishes FTTC "3 patterns" Challenge!

I just checked out all the pics of your fabulous home! I must say...I LOVE black cabinets, too! When I built my home over five years ago, I wanted all the bathroom and laundry cabinets painted black...people thought I was crazy! You know what? Over five years later and I still love 'em. FAB PAD!

Way to go!!!! I am a Hospice volunteer and a card making organizer. ?????? you say - I have a wonderful group of 10 friends. We meet once a week to just exchange ideas, show n tell, and have fun. Once a month there is a 'Bring in your cards for Hospice day" (these are cards they make at home) Then every couple of months, we have a "work" day (we gather and work for 5-6 hours and turn out as many cards as we can). Last year we donated over 1,000 cards to Hospice of the Valley. So far this year - close to 200 and we haven't even had our "bring them in" day. I think people would be interested in
knowing what Hospice does with so many cards. Don't you? Want to explain?
