Red Hot Mama

This crazy old lady is searching for a Valentine,
but I think she's going about it in the wrong way.
I wish her luck ! Just done in water colored pencils,
and added a bling heart.
She needs help big time and so do I as time is
running down and no Valentine prospects yet.
LOL to all.

My Blue Valentine

So, I decided to be artistic and design a
Valentine in a different color. I have been
known to do these kind of things and my
take on it is...when you get older, you do as
you please. This is done in blue denium ink from
Adirondack, the heart is a PSX, and the little
phrase is Darcie's.
We had another 3-4 inches
of snow today in my neck of the woods and my son
favored me by doing the shoveling. Hope you are
all well and thinking about Valentine's Day which
will be upon us very soon. Where or where is MY
Valentine?

Some Bunny Loves You

This is a cute card for I guess anyone.
Stamp is a Penny Black and the phrase
is from Imaginations. Stamped in
black archival ink and then just simply
used water colored pencils. Added the little
pom pom tails to make it cutesy.
Hope all my SBS5 sisters are doing well.

Thank you

We can always use a thank you
card so I decided to do one today.
Stamped in black and used my water
colored pencils. Added a little blig
with the bead and some jazz with the
gold buckle. Used sage ink for my
Hero Arts " thank you".

Happy 90th. Clara

My friend's mother is like my
Mom too, as we've been friends for
over 50 years. She turned 90 and I wanted
to do a nostalgic card for her. I hope I hit
it on mark. This is a Hampton Art stamp that
I actually used distress ink on. I wanted to get
an old look to it and other colors just didn't do
the job. Stamped the Happy Birthday ( Hero Arts)
and embossed in my favorite metalic, copper. Used
my new Sizzix machine ( thanks DD) to get the
retro flowers. Added a little crystal bling and it's
ready for the postman.

Is it time for butterflies?

It is super cold here in Michigan and I am
dreaming of summer by the pool with those
beautiful butterflies flitting around.
Crazy me! This is a Hero Arts stamp done on
acrylic and colored with markers. Plain
& simple but who doesn't love butterflies!

My "Tinni Valentine". Tuesday Jan.15th.

Since martinis are my very favorite boozey
drink, I love this Valentine. I like mine
up & dirty ( that's with olive juice), but
this one looks more like a fancy shmanzy fruity
drink. Stamp from IO just colored with my water
colored pencils, add a glitzy heart for bling, do
a little matting and you are good to go.
Easy card, and makes me want to find
myself a Valentine friend.

My Funny Valentine

This was a card from my new IO stamps that
arrived yesterday. My DD is on their
design team and I refuse to steal her
ideas ( even though they are so great),
so I came up with this design.
cardstock is called Peppermint, gold emobossed and
water colored pencils.

Love Card

Who says a love card has to be
Valentine red. Tried something a bit
different and this is what I got.
Black card with copper embossing. The
Lillies are Stamp It stamp, and the "love"
is Hero Arts. I added the copper strip
to the card by just inking a black strip of
card stock with Versa and the using the copper
embossing. Set the strip saying love at an
angle to be a little different. When you get older
you are entitled to do as you please, and I did.
Crazy old lady !

One happy cat

Here's a picture of dear old
Skeeter, she's taking it easy today
as her owner (Justin) had 3 impacted
wisdom teeth extracted and is a bit
under the weather from the surgery.
This old lady has to play nurse to my
adult son who is hurting.

Lots of Love with Lola

Monday, Jan.8th.
I call her Lola but she has a real
name, I just can't remember it. She is
an Artistic Impression that has been just
water colored penciled, chalked for some
demension, little heart ( Hero Arts)
is red embossed as is the Ilove you,
which is a Stamp Attack stamp. Isn't
she just the cutest old broad? I love her
and her Calgon, makes me want to jump in the tub.
Had a great day doing my charity work at church.
There's a hot guy there that is also widowed that
I have my eye on...maybe he will be my Valentine.
Wish me luck !

Hang in There

This is part of a clear set I bought at Michael's for just $1. It has like 6 stamps in a set, put out by Hampton Art. Used red card, black dye ink for the stamping and decided to use needle and thread to add a bit of fun.My little tag has the phrase "hang in there" and it didn't photo too well, also my little hangers on the card are a crisp, clean job but don't show up that way. HELP !!!

My Fishing Friend's Birthday

It's easy to make a card with good background paper. That and a sentiment and you're good to go. Easy, manly, and says what it has to.Brown card, beige mat, fish paper, a few copper brads and fini.
